Science or religion?

When I was studying, I was taught that the main difference between science and religion is in the attitude toward doubt and certainty.
Science cultivates doubt and has the habit of re-verifying any thesis, even the most certain;
religion, on the other hand, any religion, is based on certainties and dogmas that are, by definition, definitive and not questionable.

In recent years, especially in the USA, I have seen "scientific" essays appear that leave me uneasy.

Articles that give a clear indication about the uselessness of fonts for dyslexics and seem to take a final position, scientifically already established and definitive.
Since my experiences with dyslexics are very different, I took the time to analyze the statements in the article.

I am writing here now just asking you to analyze a couple of notes, to see if there is room for even a revision of such assumptions and thoughts, opening room for scientific doubt and future serene new comparisons.

Mine are therefore not "formal objections", but doubts that I raise and that I ask you to verify, to be ethically comforted in the statements you make, aware of the strong impact they have on the lives of many dyslexics.
